Subject - Pool Campus Interview of final year 2013 batch passed out BE/Diploma students for their engagement as Graduate / Technical Apprentices under the Apprentices (amendment) Act. 1973 at UIT-RGPV, Bhopal on 30th July 2013 & Acropolice, Indore on 1st Aug. 2013.
We are happy to inform you that Board of Apprenticeship Training, WR, Mumbai is conducting Pool Campus Interview of final year 2013 batch passed out students for their engagement as Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices (amendment) Act. 1973 at UIT-RGPV, Bhopal on 30th July 2013 and on 1st Aug. 2013 at Acropolis Institute of Technology & Research, Indore for the Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, CSE & IT branch students (2013 pass out).
About the Apprenticeship Training Scheme -
The National Scheme of Apprenticeship Training under The Apprentices Amendment Act, 1973 & 1986 is implemented by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resources Development, Department of Higher Education through the Regional Boards of Apprenticeship Training for providing practical training to the pass outs of Degree and Diploma Courses in Engineering / Technology, and (10+2) level Vocational Certificate Holders in the industries and other establishments for a period of one year from the date of engagement, on monthly stipendiary basis.
In the Western Region the Scheme is implemented by the BOARD OF APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING (W. R.), MUMBAI -
Objective –
The Objective of the Scheme is to facilitate fresh Graduates and Diploma Holders in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Pharmacy / HMCT, and (10 + 2) level Vocational course Passouts to acquire ‘on the job’ training in Industries / establishments and thus make them more employable. Apprenticeship Training lays the foundation and grooms an individual to take the responsibilities in his/ her field confidently.
Eligibility for Undergoing Apprenticeship Training –
During Study : Students of sandwich engineering Degree / Diploma courses in designated subjects, which are approved by BOAT (WR), Mumbai.
After Completion of Study -
Graduate Apprentice : A degree in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Pharmacy / HMCT from AICTE recognized Institute / University in designated subject.
Technician Apprentice : A diploma in Engineering /Technology / Architecture / Pharmacy / HMCT from AICTE recognized Institute / State Board of Technical Education / University in designated subject.
Period of Training - One Year. The training may begin on any day of the year.
Monthly Stipend – The following are the rates of monthly stipend paid to the apprentices as prescribed by the Government of India. However, industries may pay a higher stipend and / or extend other facilities to the apprentices.
Award of Certificate of Proficiency –
The Board of Apprenticeship Training (WR), Mumbai, awards Certificate of Proficiency to candidates who complete their One Year Training successfully under the Scheme and this period is considered as one year experience for seeking employment in Central / Sate Government establishments.
